Does not retract 100% of the time leaving the blade exposed and causing me to manually return the blade to the locked out position then using the retract button again.

Try wiping away any excess oil on the base of the blade (too much oil can cause a misfire) if you're still having issues, give us a call and we'll see what we can do to get it working better. Thank you for the review!
