I’ve managed to get ahold of a few grail balisongs, but as I was late to the game, the 42 was well extinct before I got more serious into the hobby. Unwilling to pay the obscene prices on the used market (when you can even find one for sale) I decided to go the clone route. Unwilling to take the gamble and order from China, and after some research, I decided to spend a little extra and ordered a tuned and tested knife from a US seller. 3 days after ordering, it arrived. Wow! This is not the ccc I remember growing up with! This is a very well built, sharp, and surprisingly well finished knife that also happens to flip extremely well! Originally I was going to order this to both fill the void in my collection where a Benchmade 42 should be, as well as use it as my “beater” knife that I wouldn’t feel so bad about losing or breaking, but I guess I need to keep looking for a beater. I don’t want to lose or break this one! Jeff and Little Slash (and his training m&m’s) were awesome and entertaining to deal with too! I will definitely be buying more!

I love the way this knife feels and flips. I ordered the blue with tanto and this thing looks better than the pictures. Came with some extra bushings and hardware. Tolerances were good out of the box but I tuned her up and little too zero play. This blade is SHARP! Do yourself a favor and order the training blade as well. It comes with extra hardware as well.

Jeff had my order out same day and made sure no had everything I wanted and needed. It was nice not having to worry about the seller and having to wait a month or more for hopefully a good knife with great tolerances.

I’ve had this Chab for about 2 months now and it still flips as good if not better than the day I got it. It has broken in now and is so smooth. There is still no play as long as the screws don’t get loose. I can’t think of anything bad to say about this Bali, it’s perfect. And the service is second to none. I would recommend this knife to everyone I know and to anybody who wants a quality balisong that will last a lifetime. I would give 10 stars if I could. From service to products everything is always perfect with this company. Trust me you won’t be disappointed in the Chab at all.

These are great blades. Great materials. Theyre a clone of the microtech troodon hellhound and theyre a damn good one. That knife is probably 600 plus dollars these days, so this is a great alternstive. Super fast action. Milled aluminum handles and vg-10 blade steel and a glass breaker pommel. I did... i liked it so much, i wanted to legit use it as a daily carry, so, i ordered a back up to keep in mint condition in my collection. If youre on this item checking it out and on the fence about spending this much on a "clone", know that the quality is outstanding, and you wont be disappointed with your "clone". This things a tank.

Im honestly shocked at the quality of this knife. Once you loctite the screws in, youre set. Yes this is a clone, but its still a very well made butterfly knife. Channel construction, bushings, spring latch (a good one), and the looks of a classic, without the price tag. If i lose this or its stolen, it wont break my heart.

Flips great sharp blade cool anodization that has blue and purple hues in fluorescent light. Comes with bushings and a spare set.I will definitely be buying from again! there's no better balisong for under 100 dollars that can beat this. I've owned multiple amazon.com balisong trainers and I've handled my friend's bear and son's balisongs. all the other cheap ones can't even be compared to the quality and the craftsmanship put into this one. I thought it was going to be an overpriced cheapo clone but it actually feels sturdy and flips nicely. no round edges and it came very sharp so be careful while doing aerials and other tricks. other balisongs priced similarly don't even have bushings and can't be taken apart like this one. In addition. all the edges are rounded and polished so it feels nice in hand.

all it needs is loctite or threadlocker before flipping so the screws don't come loose and then it's pretty much perfect.

I've owned this for a few weeks and I am certain you can't find a better bali in this price range.

I’ve been looking for the Chab for over a year now, I ordered 2 from Eurobalisong which never arrived and never got my money back. Then I found Jeff at Slash2Gash,
I ordered the titanium 42 which is awesome, then I saw the Chab for sale. I emailed Jeff to discuss a few things which he replies straight away, Soni out in my order and now the Chab is in my hands and it only took 1 week to arrive and I live in Australia. This knife is more than I could imagine. It’s smooth and NO play at all. I will definitely be buying more from here in the future. And the owner Jeff is such a nice guy and very professional. You are not going to find a better balisong at this price. I own a Kershaw Lucha, a Benchmade 51 and a HOM Chimera. All of those knives cost 2 - 6 times the price of this knife. But this one is my favorite. It comes with a sheath and replacement hardware. When open, the spring holds the latch directly out from the bite handle, so it doesn't impede flipping. The blade arrived sharp AF and definitely cut me quickly. I've now taped the blade. And the channel design is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this knife. If I could only have one bali, it would be this one.
