I was very pleasantly surprised with this knife. Usually you take your chances with knives at this price. Poor actions and sloppy lock up. Not in this case. The coil spring really makes this knife perform and the lock-up is super tight. The only downfall is the quality of the blade steel. It has an excellent point but will not hold an edge no matter how long or often you sharpen.
