You will never find another place with customer service like this.

First off I have never experienced awesome customer service like the owner of this site provides. He really wants you to be completely satisfied and goes to lengths you just don't find anymore.

Now the kraken clone: If you do your homework you will learn that these Chinese clones can be good but, you have to tune them properly. If you mess up with the hardware preinstalled, they thankfully provide a spare set with the order. After tuning the balisong properly it went from being a baby rattle to absolutely zero tap and surprisingly extremely little play. One thing I learned is don't tighten the zen pins too much while trying to assemble and disassemble. I am super happy with this thing for the price. Thank you Jeff for providing awesome service!

Great Service

Ordered the One Channel Kraken and received it a couple days later. After the order was shipped I received an email from Jeff advising that he had checked the knife out prior to shipping and found the bushings were undersized. He replace them with oversized bushings. When I received the knife it was adjusted perfectly the way I like it. Will probably have to apply loctite to keep it that way. I appreciate the fast service and the fact that he checked out the knife before shipping, it says a lot about his business.

I am impressed.

I just got back into Balisong collecting/flipping. I was quickly made aware of how difficult it is to purchase a brand name. Now the manufacturers that used to distribute to the major internet knife sites, now do drops on instagram where their wares are scoffed up immediately. This depressed me. Then I began reading about ‘clones’. In an insane world I believe it is ok to purchase a clone. I am particularly pleased with Slash2gash. The Kraken was my first order from them. It most definitely will not be my last. I love the Kraken. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination. But let me just say I love this knife. Moreover, I ordered this knife on a Monday and it was in my Arizonan hands by Wednesday. Kudos and more Kudos.

Krakeraken time

I bought two of the kraken models one with Bowie and one with Tanto blades. I find them to be Nicely made and tuned very well. The only complaint I have with them at all is I’m not used to the larger handles since most of my balisongs have been sandwich knives and not channels. Other than that I find them to be smooth and responsive and a hell of a lot of fun. The one does make a fine knife, but anyone with a CNC machine, a lathe and a little knowledge of could too. The originals might be a little better I don’t know, but I know this for a fact, I’d never pay 1000.00 for a knife for the small amount of difference there properly is between this and the original. I’ve had good luck so far with this company. My favorites are Python, Tsunami, viper and Orca. All four of those made by the one are excellent knives. I don’t think they are worth the bucks. Good stuff

Rough Blade

I purchased blemished handles from S.I. and tried to install the clone blade (tanto), the factory cut on the blade was somewhat imprecise, bearings were hard to get into the blade, and the notch at the back where the pins rest on open, was cut too deeply, so the handles collide when doing a basic opening. Additionally, the cutouts on the front were not cut deep enough, causing the handles to sit at about 35 degrees which is much wider than stock S.I.

I apologize for any confusion. The clone blade was never advertised to fit on Authentic/Original handles though. Our 'spare blade' listing has more detail with a note at the bottom saying 'This training blade fits on the KRAKEN clone made by 'theONE' only'. You may not have seen that considering this is a different description for the whole knife, so I apologize. For the clone blade, you do need clone handles. On almost every single model, parts are NOT compatible to swap between models. Hope that helps and thank you for the review!

Also FYI...... the bushings being tight inside the holes in the blade is actually a GOOD thing. That means you'll have tighter tolerances vs extra slop.
