S/A means the knife opens with trigger or button, but are manually closed by pulling a cocking rod or a lever. "OTF" only refers to the basic portion of the knife's mechanical operation where the blade slides parallel with the handle to deploy. The button to deploy this blade is located near the top (stabby end), then press the button again to release and pull back on the cocking lever to retract.
***ATTENTION*** The firing button on this version is NOT fully recessed, please carry your knife in a manner that the button won't accidentally get pressed. There is NO physical safety on this model.
