I keep one of these on my desk, as well as one in a pouch on my belt for every day carry, as they are incredibly useful tools, for opening letters, packages, cutting stray threads, creating camp fire kindling, and more, as well as their obvious self-defense usefulness. The blades sharpen up very nicely, and stay sharp for extended use. I can't recommend them enough. If you want a small, useful blade for multiple tasks, with a bit of a Piratical/Western style, this is the one for you!
