KPL (Knife Pivot Lube) Premium Knife Oil & Lubricant - The best Oil for Knives - keeps dirt, metal particles, and grit "in suspension" so they don't cause grinding and premature wear. KPL actually cleans your pivot/track as you use it.

Hands down better on knives than Nano Oil, Blue Lube®, reel oil, Tuf-Glide®, FrogLube® or anything else.

  • Made with the tears of baby Unicorns.
  • The BEST oil for Automatics, OTF, Butterfly/Balisong, Assisted, Manual... basically anything that moves. (also works on fishing reels, guns etc.)
  • Compatible with ball bearings, bushings, bronze/brass washers, teflon washers, IKBS, MRBS, nylon (nylatron), G10, micarta, titanium, and other metals.
  • Keeps detent tracks and locking mechanisms smooth. Prevents lock-stick.
  • Lightning fast deployment - silky smooth action - bank-vault lockup.
  • Prevents corrosion/oxidation to carbon steels such as damascus or D2.
  • 10mL bottle with needle applicator.

KPL starts with an ultra-high-end synthetic lubricant base which provides outstanding film-strength, very high contaminant suspension capacity, and exceptional lubricity. Added wickability modifiers help penetrate low tolerance interfaces, while corrosion inhibitors and other additives help Knife Pivot Lube flow well and protect your knife.

***DO NOT EAT*** 37 gummy bears were sacrificed for each 10mL bottle. KPL smells delicious and has a child resistant cap, but please keep out of reach from your children.

Works on virtually ALL knives, we have yet to find a knife/material KPL wasn't compatible with. ***View our full KPL Heavy listing here...

Slick as snail snot!

This be some good shitz. It draws right into the pivots and stays put. I’ve never seen an oil like that before. I put it in some bearings that I’ve had trouble with. I cleaned and cleaned them but there was a rough spot in them. They were sealed bearings. The oil drawer right in them and smoothed the spot off silky smooth. I had tried other oils with no affect, but this oils did the trick. I’m sold on it. Going to try all three. Thin on my otf’s regular on my pocket knives and heavy on my balisong. I was amazed at how much better my older balisong knives took to this oil and now they are fun to work again. I’m impressed and amazed. This will be my go to oil from now on and I’m going to give it a try on my firearms as well. I usually use Wally’s products on them and they do make wonderful oils and grease, I don’t expect I’ll give up on them cause I’ve really grown to like their products but I’m sure going to use both. Depending on the need. You can’t go wrong with this oil and I being a gunsmith, knife maker and Remote control hobbyist for nearly 50 years recommend this oil highly.

Just.....Wow.

I've seen KPL advertisements for a long time, but i had plenty of knife oil around and didn't see any reason to get yet another bottle of oil....Oil is oil, right?

Wrong. I was already making an order from S2G so i figured i'd give it a shot. A couple weeks ago i stripped, cleaned and re-tuned my HOM Prodigy. I loctited the pivots and hadn't oiled it up yet so i put a small drop of KPL Heavy on the pivot at each hande and worked it in.

The Prodigy has some of the tightest tolerances you'll ever see....even when it's running poorly, it's better than most other balis out there. But after adding the KPL Heavy, the thing is like a totally new knife. I can't believe how smooth it flips and how great it sounds. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

easy to use and makes a good difference

Just put two drops on the bearing without even taking anything apart and it makes it smoother and sound better.

I got the diablo stiletto automatic Milano switchblade from this website and it needs lube, the screw for the adjustable coil-spring keeps coming loose and messing up the whole handle. Which weight of this kpl oil will work best?

Pivot screws loosening is expected on basically ALL knives. If you don't have a theadlocker, we recommend vibra-tite gel as our brand of choice... Vibra-Tite Thread Locker GEL Red/Blue Knife Pivot Lock Tight loctite – Slash2Gash

and as far as which oil we would use, that would be the original weight on most pivots. It's nice to have all 3 though as different occasions/products/parts you may want a thinner or thicker oil, and you also save a few bucks getting all 3 as well....
