This model uses a Leaf-Spring opening, meaning use a firm grip and brace the bottom of the handle against your palm. This will give the spring a sturdy base to push off against for a stronger action.
PRO TIP: Rotate your wrist to a palm-up position, and even a weaker spring will still lock when held properly.

SO It's sharp, it deploys smoothly. Keep in mind that thing is huge, centered, no blemishes on knife, no scratches like China. Yes the spring might not be as strong as the 9" stiletto which I do recommend buying also the kriss. It has a stronger spring then the other one I had from dhgate. SOLID LOCKUP NO WOBBLE!!! YEAH BABY. IM 100% HAPPy. Use that tip to rotate your palm and it comes out nice. I seen that 13" in a B budget movie called HOBO WITH A shotgun. All my knives from different categories are perfect imo . Also I've seen 13" from a.g.a and frank beltrane stilettos with alot of wobble. . Keep that in mind. Order came fast and I've bought so many items. I'll update in a video just so damm busy. This knife ain't flimsy at all imo. It comes out fast enough.
