This Single Action Automatic OTF out-the-front aka "switchblade" has one of the MOST POWERFUL openings of this category. This quick-release mechanism makes the blade easy to deploy in less than a second. The handle on this blade is long and sleek with a black finish. It is made from zinc aluminum with a cocking rod on the pommel. The handle has been contoured for comfort and has a Cerakote coating that gives the handle its smooth finish. The blade is made from stainless steel in a tanto style and a satin finish.
S/A means the knife opens with trigger or button, but are manually closed by pulling a cocking rod or a lever. "OTF" only refers to the basic portion of the knife's mechanical operation where the blade slides parallel with the handle to deploy. The button to deploy this blade is located on the right, then press the button again to release and pull back on the cocking lever to retract.
