These are unique because they flare from exactly .47” to at the thickest .55” thick when looking at them from the side with the bridge (non striking area that rests in your palm) on the bottom and the knuckle or striking (business end) part on top ( the way you’d usually see them in a picture. Also there is a distal taper across the face of them or the business end of your looking at them like you were about to get hit that starts in the middle and goes out to both sides evenly (hope all that made sense). And those contours are subtle and perfect imo and makes for a really sweet fit. I’ve hit a few things, all hard like the bottom of a stainless kitchen sink, hardwood bookcases, and even trees not with haymakers but like a pretty heavy jab and not only do my hands not hurt (if you buy knucks that fit you’ll have the same experience, don’t believe the “new” way of wearing them around your middle knuckle that’s between the tips of your fingers and ones on your hand that’s freaking stupid) but didn’t mark them or ding them at all, I was shocked cause sintered (compacted) steel from India can go either way and these are awesome durability ESPECIALLY for the price. Also I wanted black ones but were sold out so I decided to just sand the finish off and polish them. Wow, that was a nightmare, the finish is like some kind of super heavy duty hard powder coat or something similar. It was a nightmare to get off them with power tools and polish too, I won’t be doing that again. Over all I’m so impressed with the products and the way Jeff runs his store. He’s called every time I’ve ordered something even when he didn’t need to to check on details of the order and every time takes the time to chat fer a short min. No one does this nowadays this is old school mentality, very customer centric and it’s nice to see people like that still. Lastly I live in the same state where I’m assuming his brick and mortar or wherever he ships from so if I order prior to that days cutoff I get my order next day, freaking bravo! Not gonna lie, Amazon had ruined me they’re barely slower than going to a store and walking out with your purchase so I love the speed from this company. Anyways I’ve digressed horribly like usual; just but the damn knuckles!
