S2G rocks!

Not only do I love my BM42 clone which is the most accurate clone I’ve seen yet, but I love S2G! Found this site while looking for this specific product and not only are the products awesome but the owner of the site called me personally to tell me my bank is sending merchants the wrong information when transactions are attempted, which causes me issues that the bank never seems to fix. With his explanation I was able to tell my bank exactly what the problem was and they stopped shutting off my card all the time! Thanks for the help!

Knife reviewer

Lots of contact with the blade and its handles, some play in the handles until I uses some loctite to keep the screws from loosening

Cool knife but I absolutely overpaid for this cheap clone-- I only bought it to make my own d2 blade and make a custom Benchmade 42

The springlatch is nice but just like on the 42 it throws off the balance ever so slightly

Would buy again if the fit and finish can improve

Appreciate the review! Threadlocker is certainly recommended, or that would be expected :) This SS model is one of the most popular items on our entire site, so I am deeply sorry you feel you overpaid. I think if your purpose was to make a 'custom knife', I believe you started off on the wrong foot. The TI handles are the way to go (CNC perfection, and night/day difference in terms of balance) but the only catch is...... the TI version cost is much higher (the SS version was supposed to be cheap) as most of the value is all in the milled titanium (arguably better than an authentic). Unless you've got perfection yourself in creating a new blade to the exact dimensions, I think you'd have a better end result just keeping the factory blade. The tiniest bit of variance can greatly affect your end result. Let me us know if there's anything we can do to help!

Nice quality

Bought this one and the titanium handled one. Both are excellent quality but prefer the titanium one for flipping better. Can’t go wrong with either one but if you want one that feels more fluid while flipping or if you only want to buy one of them, go with the titanium one. It’s worth the extra money.
