Gold one just arrived

Now it's funny to on the rainbow one it has an Allen key hole and on the gold one it looks like a torx. I like the style of the gold one and I actually put it aside for my collection as it makes me feel good that I can have a couple balis since I had to sell everything on the past. I've bought a couple already. Jeff also has sent me a free torx set, loctite on next package. He also left a note on it sorry for the delay even though he didnt need to do that. Jeff will communicate and work on your bali. This feels like an old bradley Kimura not the Bear and son one. It's not heavy either its lightweight. Honestly just flip with it. If it comes loose, just use a crv 2.5 Allen driver and it will fit the rainbow.. This bali will last you. . And if you look closely one is torx and one is allen screw. Thabks s2g

UPDATE!

In the video, you’ll see that the right side has adhesive glue (the infamous Chinese Loctite), while the other screw didn’t have any glue. I had to use a 2.5mm Allen driver to fit. I’ll show you this in a quick video. I used red Loctite, which I don’t recommend—Walmart didn’t have blue. I use red on cheap balisongs. Important note: with threadlocker, less is more. For cheap balisongs, it’s better to leave them on the looser side because I’ve had times when I applied blue Loctite and after 24 hours, it was a bit stiff. I also find that after 2 days, it worked better than leaving it under. It’s more dangerous to flip with a stiff knife.

AWESOME BALI. THANKS, S2G. It’s lightweight for its size and has great flippability.

UPDATE!!!

I decided to get a gold one bc this is solid baliI was under the assumption that it had adhesive glue like the twist had ( infamous China loctite). BOTH screws became loose which is expected. However one of the screws I was able to remove one of them with ease and I saw a clear flake residue in the hole. The other screw was not budging even after using a allen key driver which was not hard to find. So I started by latching the bali closed since it will keep the knife held together as I learned. I also tried squeezing the two handles together and both sides started spinning together lol. The advantage is that both sides has a allen screw where you can hold one in place and hopefully unscrew it when I come home today. I was gonna put bronze washers on like I did with the rosewood bali. I have a feeling I won't be able to loosen the jammed screw. Nylon washers aren't as bad as you think for this type of bali. It sux that I don't have my tools from 5 years ago and I bought red loctite since they didn't have blue. I've broke red loctite on a benchmade 67 since they loctite that model and I broke it free. I can tell you this with threadlocker less is more. So if I can't loosen the one screw thats s already jammed ill just leavd it and won't need to loctite it. But I'm red loctiting the other screw and leave it overnight. I just don't have time like I did 5 years ago with one kid. Now I have 3. Honestly it's worth mentioning saving your money up and buying the falcon or kraken. You won't regret it. Jeff will well tune it and you'll have a nice knife thst will last you awhile. I'm thinking about buying the purple one when I get paid. That's why I like the classic economy bali bc all I have to do is put one side at a time in the vice opened or closed and it will tighten the rivit pins. I put alot of pressure on the vice till it gets really tight and I can loosen it from there. It actually feels lighter than the weight. If you have the time to tune this then get this one. I spent 2 hours on this bali mostly trying to find the allen driver.lolI just don't have the time to tune like I used to which sux. so I'm just loctiting and that's pretty much it and I'll mess with it when I have the time. Trust me buy here.

Appreciate the review! Keep in mind on a low-cost model, it may not be worth the time trying to mod/tune them. As long as the handles are swinging free, I wouldn't mess with it. Please note on the pivots, sometimes I get them where the factory worker installed them backwards. Since you can't tell which side is the screw and which side is the barrel, you may be fighting with the wrong side trying to remove = why I suggest to leave it be. If it breaks free, cool.... but if you start stripping the head leave it alone lol, it's not worth the effort.

AWESOME SUPER BUDGET FREINDLY BALI FOR PRICE!

Yo this is one of my flippers and it's on point lime tbe twist rainbow that's sold out. It's a great flipper and really solid. It does have plastic washers, but it flipped smoothly. I'm telling you this reminds me if the twist and the cobra knives where it saids limited edition and the steal saids 1065 surgical steel on blade so it reminds me of thr kobra balis which were great. The top of the blade has a hole on the sharp side where you can do more tricks. Yo there is no difference in handle play than a real benchmade 51. It looks the same see pic below. Very little play, has tap, but it's centered and I didn't have to break it in or flip it bc there was glue on the twist. I'm not sure if there is glue. If there isn't then I would try to put washers on it bc I doubt the pins will fit or the bushings. I did it to thst rosewood bali thst had the serated edge and after I nailed and screwed it all the way tight and the bronze washers were big. There's was just a smoother opening. I didn't double up on the washers. But this is a good cheap bali that's lighter than the SS HANDLE 4 CLONES IF YOU Want a heavier knife. I do recommend the jaguar for a heavy ass knife with tbe sane price tag. In the description it saids this a great flipper compared to the others. I can verify it that yes it is. I'm prob gonna hey another one. But look at pics below. Onto. Using my 4x to balisong. This came with the lizard clone and was fast and like I said jeff has excellent communication, prompt responses, superb customer service, and honest. This is a 5 star on this knife for the price.
